Corby Clean and Proud is a business-led campaign that looks to bring the business community together to raise awareness about litter and to take all the steps we can to ensure it is reduced.
It is led by the Great Oakley Group and the de Capell Brooke family, with the official endorsement and support of Corby Borough Council. The de Capell Brooke family has lived and worked in Corby since 1575 and always taken a keen interest in the prosperity of the town and the welfare of its people.
Other founding partners include Larkfleet Homes, Mid-West Landscaping, Brooke Weston Trust and The David Laing Foundation.
By working together we can continue to make Corby a place we are proud to call home. We are asking businesses to pledge support to keeping Corby’s streets clean and tidy.
Making sure our streets are clean and tidy is an important issue for people. Street cleansing alone costs taxpayers almost £1 billion a year in England and 30,000,000 tonnes of litter is collected from the nation’s streets each year.
By committing to taking a number of simple steps to keep your premises clean you will help ensure Corby is a great place to live.
If you are already doing great work to keep your business or school clean and tidy then this is your opportunity to be recognised. Sign up to the campaign and celebrate your efforts.
